Because people of faith are often the first to witness need and distress from all causes, they historically have supported Medicaid and Medicare. As providers of services and care, both physical and spiritual, our members, congregations and institutions, including religiously affiliated health care providers, they understand the value and important of Medicaid and Medicare in making health care accessible to the most vulnerable populations in the U.S.
