Statements about Health Care in the United States
Since the early 1990’s, faith leaders and faith groups have been making statements and adopting resolutions about health care reform in the United States. Unless rescinded by subsequent action, these actions remain as the official positions of the faith groups.
Statements from nearly 30 faith groups have inspired health care justice advocates and served as a foundation for those working for a system of health care that includes everyone.
Statements from faith leaders in response to the May 4, 2017 passage of the American Health Care Act in the U.S. House of Representatives to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act.
